About the Riding
We provide professional local Dartmoor guides who know the moors like the back of their hand, meaning you'll be riding all those secret little spots and and all the best local tracks! The style of riding we cater for is enduro / trail riding / single track riding / we love riding flowy downhills and we pedal to get to them, so whatever you call that style of riding! For those familiar with Dartmoor, the sort of areas we'll be riding include Hamel Down, Bellever Forest and Lustleigh Cleeve. The length of rides and difficulty of tracks are catered towards the riders for each trip, however we tend to ride around 5 - 6 hours each day, split into a morning and afternoon ride by a scrumptious lunch delivered to you on the trail or back at camp. The riding in Dartmoor is wild and natural so expect flowy single tracks scattered around the surrounding hill sides, descents that are a mix of fast flowing moorland tops with natural kickers, sweeping banks and the odd rock garden for good measure.
Please note: This trip is not aimed at novices and will require a reasonable level of fitness and skill. You are expected to bring your own bike but we can hire one on request for an extra fee.
About the Food & Drink
Our aim is that all food and drink is fresh, locally sourced and healthy. Expect continental breakfast in the mornings, fresh lunch with crusty rolls from the bakery, energy snacks through out the days, loads of water, and hearty hot dinners. We will provide a couple of cold beers from the local brewery for the camp fire, you're welcome to bring more. We can adjust to most dietary requirements but please make sure we know about them!
About the Bunkhouse
Situated in the midst of the trail network, on a quaint and quite farm. The Bunkhouse is fully kitted out with comfy beds. Our very own meeting room, kitchen, toilets and showers. We'll be riding straight out of the campsite. Plus some of the produce in our meals will come from the farm itself, it doesn't get anymore local than that!
Extra Adventure Activities
After, before or maybe even during our rides we'll organise activities such as wild swimming, tree climbing, dark sky walks, slacklining (which is totally awesome for your bike balance), sunset/sunrise excursions and maybe even some yoga in there. You can participate in as much or as little as you like.
Filming and Photography
All weekend we will be taking awesome pictures and videos to capture the best moments of the weekend. Afterwards these pictures will be made available to you at no extra charge for you to show all those fans back home what an awesome trip you had!
